The highly qualified and experienced Board of Directors own Piccolo Pre-school Nursery Ltd. and manage the setting.

Claudia Cafarelli-Hunt – Proprietor (Manager, SENCO, and Safeguarding of Children) Holds a Masters Degree in Education specialising in Special Needs and the NVQ level 3 Certificate in Child Care, Learning and Education.
Jane Sherwood – Proprietor (Deputy Manager) Holds the NVQ level 3 Certificate in Early Years Care and Education.
Mayte Neary - Proprietor (Administrator) Holds the NVQ level 3 Certificate in Early Years Care and Education.
Tanya Sidley – (Pre-school Practitioner) Holds a Diploma in Childcare, NVQ level 2 in Child Care and CACHE level 3 Certificate in Childminding Practice.
Sallie Holmes – (Pre-school Practitioner) Holds the NVQ level 3 Certificate in Early Year Care, Learning and Education.
Honey Bamberger – (Pre-school Practitioner) Holds the NVQ level 3 Certificate in Child Care, Learning and Education. At present attending course Foundation Degree in Childhood Studies
Poonam Trape- (Pre-school Practitioner) Holds a Diploma in Childcare and NVQ level 2 Child Care Learning and Development.
 
 
Staff maintain high standards and motivation by regularly attending courses to update their skills. Our staff ratios are a maximum of 1 staff to 6 children. Piccolo Pre-school Nursery has a key person system. This means that each member of staff has a group of children for whom they are responsible. Your child’s key person will be available to work with you to make sure that what our pre-school provides is right for your child’s particular needs and interest.
